“Chalta Rahe Yeh Silsila”

As she continued her journey with different organisations, Ismail graciously shared her journey with Rubaroo. Here’s a tale of compassion and resilience that impacted lives.

Ek Nayi Shuruaat

July 2019 mein meri cousin ne aake bataya ki ek community centre open hua hai. Us samay Youth Resource Center (YRC) ki team aayi thi waha aur phir maine computer classes join kari. Dheere dheere mai familiarise hone lagi us jagah se. Lekin mai zyada baat nahi karti thi, aur sirf jab pucha jaaye toh bolti thi. Par – Bun, Baatein, aur Badlav – session ke zariye kafi kuch change ho gaya. Woh jo dialogue aur conversation hua kafi impactful tha uski wajah se maine Circle of Stories camp attend kiya tha. Waha meri mulaqat hui Amulya se, aur phir toh bas jo bond create hui ki hume – Three Muskeeters – bulaya jata tha.

Mere managing skills dekhte hue team ne mujhe internship ki opportunity offer ki aur mujhe tab tak internship kya hoti hai pata hi nahi tha. Main iske pehle parents pe dependent thi for pick and drop kyon ki bachpan se sirf ghar se school aur school ke ghar ji pata tha mujhe. Maine kabhi socha nahi tha ki mai yeh kar paungi. 

Badlav ki Neev

Phir jab maine internship shuru ki toh samajh nahi aa raha tha kya karna hai – facilitation, mobilisation – yeh sab naye words the mere liye. With time, I started understanding things as the team helped simp;ify things. Usbe baad maine logo se bond build kiya, baccho ke parents ke saath baat-cheet ki aur safe space create ki. Within a year, mai Center Coordinator ban gayi aur kafi cheezein seekhne mili. COVID ke samay mujhe sab onine karna tha, aur phir Amar aur Uma ne kafi support kiya. 

Mere liye interfaith aur unity in harmony kafi simple concept tha. Mujhe nahi pata tha ki uska Domino’s effect kaise hota hai. Maine jaana ki isse conflict shuru hote hai, friendship aur connections bante aur tut te bhi hai. Jaise hum aasani se bol dete hai interfaith, but usko samajhna kafi complicated hai. Na sirf yeh chiz, maine kafi sare programs ke zariye consent ka concept jaana. 

Bas Chalte Rahe

Mere ghar mein hum do ladkiya hai. Mujhe yaad hai bachpan mein mere parents ek ladke ko adopt karna soch rahe the, toh humne unhe roka. Aaj mere parents mujh par trust karte hai, chahe duniya kare ya na but unka trust mujhe mila hai yaha se. Aur jo dost banaye hai maine woh hamesha mere saath rahe hai. 

Mai chahti ki Rubaroo kuch naya kare, aur thematic explore kare aur naye log laaye. Aakhir mein kehna chahugi ki haan, Rubaroo ke kaam se maine mere community mein impact dekha hai – un adolescents, aur unke parents mein jo woh support karne lage the. Woh mumkin isliye hua kyon Rubaroo ne koshish ki har dam touch mein rehkar support karne ki. Aur jo bhi youth aa rahe hai unke liye bas yehi kahungi ki open mind se jaaye aur kuch bhi ho toh sawal puche, roke na khudko.
